Hampton Court is a royal palace in the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames.
It has not been inhabited by the British royal family since the 18th century. It was originally built for Cardinal Wolsey, a favourite of King Henry V111 around 1514. In 1529 Wolsey fell from favour, the place was passed to the Kind who enlarged it
We depart Faversham 9.30am from Upper Brents, and make our way to Hampton Court Palace.
Palace opens at 10.00am.
