Enjoy 2 nights in Wiltshire in the Autumn, with a visit to Stourhead House and Gardens.

When Stourhead first opened in the 1740’s, a magazine described it as ‘ a living work of art’. The world famous landscape garden has at its centrepiece a magnificent lake reflecting classical temples, mystical grottoes and rear exotic trees.

Travel Tuesday leaving aprx 10.00am.

Our stay is The Hunters Inn, in Wincanton, just 3 miles for Stourhead.   This hotel offers en suite rooms  and free Wi-Fi. The rooms are furnished to a high standard and are housed within a new, completely self-contained block with extensive parking.

Enjoy the quiet countryside, relax in the cosy bars and in the restaurant, which serves food all day, all week.

Wednesday we drive , after a hearty breakfast, to Stourhead where, weather permitting, spend the whole day there.

Entrance tickets included to house and gardens.

Back to hotel in evening.
