Split’s most prominent historic site is the mighty Diocletian’s Palace. This vast marble complex was built by the Romans in the 3rd century for Emperor Diocletian to retire to. Its ancient walls now circle the city’s old town with its traditional cafés, shops and restaurants. Scale the bell tower for amazing sea views, then stroll through the atmospheric streets before settling in for some people-watching at a pavement café.

One of the most successful Roman emperors, Diocletian, decided to build a palace in Split and retire. His palace, a World Heritage Site since 1979 at UNESCO, is still inhabited by locals and attracts many visitors. We will explore the secrets of the palace by walking trough streets where you can still find traces from all periods of Dalmatian history
Trogir is a charming town located on a small island named by the ancient Greek colonists. It has been on the UNESCO World Heritage List since 1997. We walk through the preserved Romanesque-Gothic streets, enjoy the seafront and admire the old castles, churches and other important buildings.
