Great Dixter was the family home of gardener, Christopher Lloyd Situated in East Sussex, it was the focus of Christopher Lloyd’s energy and enthusiasm and fuelled over 40 years of books and article.
The earliest surviving part of the house, the Great Hall, dates probably from the 1450s. but records show Dixter was first recorded in 1220.
